Comporta, the kingdom of dolphins
Comporta is a wild place where nature is raw and preserved. It is an ideal place to disconnect from everyday life with family or friends.
During your stay in Comporta, discover the dolphins living in the fresh waters of the Sado estuary.
Corazon Roazes has taken up residence here at the mouth of the river. About three dozen of these animals live in groups. They were identified for the first time in 1981, and are subject to ongoing monitoring and follow-up.
A guided tour takes two to three hours aboard a catamaran. At the option of the spray you will visit the estuary and the beautiful coast of Arrábida. At the height of the summer, consider wearing hats and long clothing because the UV index is high.
Two companies offer this exceptional excursion from the Troia marina: SadoArrábida and Vertigem Azul.
