Brejos

Brejos Beach / Praia dos Brejos

Access to the beach of Brejos is not easy, so it is not very popular all year round. The surrounding nature is particularly wild. There is no restaurant or bar, so you need to plan what you need to cool off and protect yourself from the sun.
Access to the beach
The easiest way is to cycle through the rice fields. At the bottom of the dune you will find a path with cement slabs leading to this wonderful beach, count 10 minutes walk. Be careful if you come back at the end of the day, remember to bring a mosquito repellent spray.

Carvalhal

Carvalhal Beach / Praia do Carvalhal

A large beach bordered by dunes and rice fields that are home to many varieties of insects, birds and flowers. You can swim, fish, surf with the Surf in Comporta school, body-board, walk or jog.

Pego Beach / Praia do pego

This expanse of endless beach is incredible with its golden sand, unspoilt vegetation and surrounding pine forest. We feel like Robinsons lost at the end of the world. If you are a lucky observer, you will see the Sado dolphins passing by, a magical moment!

Comporta Beach / Praia da Comporta

Splendid expanse of wild and preserved white sand. Between the blue of the ocean and the green of the rice fields, Comporta beach is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Portugal.

There are two restaurants on this beach, the Comporta Café and Ilha do Arroz, as well as a bar that opens during the summer season and offers parties and DJ sets.

Comporta Beach is located just outside the village of Comporta, on the road that leads along the Tróia Peninsula. Parking at the entrance : 5€.

Melides

Galé – Fontainhas (Raposa) Beach / Praia da Galé – Fontainhas

This beach lined with fossil cliffs of red sandstone is a splendour. The landscape is very impressive and its beauty is magnified at sunset.

To access the beach, you must take a path that starts from the small car park located next to the Galé campground.

Aberta Nova Beach / Praia da Aberta Nova

Aberta Nova beach is about 3.5 km long. It is therefore always easy to find a quiet place to put your towels to enjoy the magnificent setting that is available to you.

Melides Beach / Praia da Melides

Melides Beach is a long sandy inlet that separates the sea and the Melides Lagoon. It offers a magnificent setting that you can never get tired of contemplating.

Tróia

The Tróia marina has underground and outdoor parking spaces. From Lisbon, you can
take the ferry in order to arrive directly on the Tróia peninsula.

Soltroia Beach / Praia Soltroia

Here the sand is golden and the ocean is calm because it is slowed down by the sandbanks that can be seen from the Arrabida mountain. Its name comes from the private residence “Soltroia”, not very busy, which must be crossed to access it.
