Muda has a typical characteristics of an Alentejo locality, with small houses along the main street, developing just to one side of the road.
Even with its steady growth, with a major project in hand, Muda does not have as much to offer as you will find in Comporta, or as much to visit culturally as other places. However it is in a privileged place because it is close to both Carvalhal and Comporta and you can enjoy the calm that the space provides.

Situated right in the center of 261 National Road, the TAIPA restaurant offers you the best piglet in the area. A different eating experience from the restaurants you find in Comporta and Carvalhal and the opportunity to experience a typical Alentejo flavor.
Brejo da Amada, a local accommodation that lets us taste the flavors of is restaurant. With a typical dishes of the region allows those who visiting this restaurant to taste the flavors of Alentejo cuisine. With ambient music and good wine list, this restaurant offers all the conditions to enjoy a pleasant dinner.

Muda Reserve – Quintas da aldeia
This rural project is inspired by the traditional architecture of the Alentejo, designed and conceived as a new concept of living, combining the country side with the side of the beach. It is a project designed to have all the necessary comforts and have everything within reach, including the services you would find in the surrounding villages. These houses are located in the village of Muda, Comporta. Some 50 land were created in this area with about 4 to 6 hectares, which became known as Village Farms.
The design of this construction provides for the organization of construction as follows:
-Construction area for Village Farms;
-Construction area for Village Villas;
-Construction area for Village TownHouses;
-Green areas and Retails;
-Chapel, Sports Facilities and Kindergarden.
The project will benefit from all village infrastructures: church, playing fields, children’s playground, retail support services such as grocery, mini-market, restaurant and a kiosk selling newspapers and magazines.
Activities around Muda in Portugal
On this site you will not find many offers of activities and things to do, but due to the proximity to Comporta, Carvalhal and other villages that are part of Herdade da Comporta, you can stay in Muda and enjoy all the activities that are available in the surroundings.
Activities such as horse riding, surfing lessons, yoga classes, boating and sailing, wildlife watching (such as dolphins and birds that are common in the Sado estuary).
Beaches around Muda in Portugal
By standing in Muda, we can say that geographically, you are in the center of the beach access. On one side you can visit the beaches of Comporta, Pego, Carvalhal and Tróia. Or you can travel to the other side and you can visit the beaches of Melides, Santo André, Porto Covo to Sines.
Even Muda does not have is own beach, it’s very well located so you can visit different beaches using the car.
